Impasse is a band that just wants to have fun! "Every gig is a milestone when the audience has fun", says bassist Don Smith, echoing the feelings of all the band members.

The Impasse band covers a wide variety of musical styles, from classic rock to blues, R&B to country, funk, disco and more. Group members Kari Johnson (vocals), Phil Hipskind (guitar, vocals), Pete Hillenberg (guitar, vocals), Don Smith (bass guitar, vocals), Larry Vesely (keyboards, guitar, vocals), and Jim Rollins (drums, vocals) bring a wealth of experience to the ensemble.
