Jan likes to tell everyone that she has been singing all her life and if you count almost 40 years then it is true. Her first start was in a band in high school called Apple Core and she has not looked back. Jan has been in several bands singing a wide variety of music. She was once told by a professional musician that she had the best harmonies around.

Jan was one of the original members of Impasse when they started in 1993. She left in 2003 and after a 5 year hiatus, has returned. Like the song, Jan is “A little bit country, and a little bit rock and roll”. Jan is a song writer and you just might hear a song or two of her own before the night is over.

By day, Jan is a mild mannered librarian pushing books to K through 12 students at Dugger Schools. By night, she is a wild and crazy gal singing to a crowd of wild and crazy Impasse fans.
